Reservations
What time is check-in?
Check-in is 3–6 pm.
Can I check in earlier, or later?
Yes. Please contact the Innkeeper for special instructions.
If I arrange for a late check-in, how do I get in?
The back (main entry) is unlocked from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you arrange for a check-in after this time, the Innkeeper's instructions will include the keypad code.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is 11 am on the day of departure.
Can I check out later?
Yes, you need to make arrangements with the Innkeeper, and an additional fee may be charged.
Is there a curfew?
No. Guests are given 2 keys — one for the guest room handset, and a second to get in the back or front doors if locked.
Can my family rent the whole house?
Yes. The whole house is available at a group discount.
House Rules
Can I smoke on the property?
Chez Lyndon Manor is a smoke-free building. You may smoke on the front and back porches.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, the Manor is pet-friendly. An additional fee of $35 per day will be charged.
Can I invite my student to breakfast?
Yes, students may join their families for breakfast for no fee.
Rooms & Amenities
Are there any guest rooms on the first floor?
No. The Manor has six guest rooms on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator to access all floors.
Is my room air conditioned?
Yes, each guest room has its own thermostat.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, the Manor has a Mesh-Net system that allows guests WiFi access on all floors.
Is there a TV in the room?
Yes, all guest rooms have smart TVs with TV shows and Netflix.
Is there a fridge in the room?
Yes, there is a small refrigerator in 6 of our guest rooms. The Eaves does not; however there is a kitchen outside the room and guests on the 3rd floor may use its fridge.
Is there a coffee pot in the room?
No. We have a Keurig and extra bottles of water available on a baker's rack in the Solarium on the first floor.
Is it noisy at night being downtown?
Sometimes, especially on holidays. Each guest room is equipped with a white noise machine.
Can I take a bath?
Yes, all our accommodations have tub/shower units.
Is there a hair dryer available?
Yes, there is a handheld hair dryer in the bathroom.
Do you provide toiletries?
Yes. The Manor provides guests with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Do you have bath towels?
Yes, full sets of towels for each guest, including make-up removal towels.
Do you provide bath robes?
Yes, there are 2 terry bathrobes in each guest room.
Breakfast & Dining
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes, breakfast is included. You have a choice between our “Easy Beginnings (a continental breakfast) or a “Full Breakfast” with a menu of signature entrees.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8–10 a.m. each morning in the first-floor dining areas.
Can you accommodate vegetarians and vegans?
Yes. With advance notice, we can accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes. The Manor is within walking distance of many fine restaurants and bars.
Our Neighborhood
Is there parking?
Yes. The Manor has 7 on-site parking spaces, plus additional street parking nearby.
Can I find a ride in the city?
Yes. Lexington is an Uber/Lyft friendly city.
Can I walk to Rupp Arena?
Yes, it's a 6-block walk south on Broadway — though it might be easier to park at the Manor, since traffic can be a challenge on game day.
Is the city a safe place to walk?
Yes. The Manor is in a family-friendly neighborhood. Use common sense with traffic and stay in well-lit areas in the evening; step into a business if in doubt.
