Built in 1883 for horseman Joseph Carter Headley, Chez Lyndon Manor has spent well over a century collecting stories, and each of our seven guest rooms holds a piece of them. The Headley Room honors the home's original owner and keeps the house's only original closet. The Belle Brezing Room nods to the Lexington legend who inspired a character in Gone with the Wind. The Keeneland Room celebrates the famed race course just six miles west. The Shaker Suite is furnished in the clean, handcrafted style of Kentucky's Shaker tradition. Tucked beneath the roofline, The Eaves offers a private third-floor hideaway for two.

No two rooms share the same layout or character. Sunny front rooms overlook historic North Broadway, while rear rooms face the garden and suit light sleepers. You can choose a king sleigh bed, a queen four-poster, two full beds for friends traveling together, or a suite with its own sitting room.

Every room at our historic boutique hotel shares the same standard of comfort. Each has a private bath with tub and shower, Egyptian cotton towels, and plush terry robes. Pillow-top mattresses and high-thread-count linens make for deep sleep, and a white noise machine softens the sounds of downtown.
