| Lyndon House Policies
|
RESERVATION POLICIES:
* Accepted payment: The Lyndon House accepts debit cards,
all major credit cards, Travelers checks, and cash.
* Cancellations: During the regular season, the cancellation
deadline is 48 hours prior to the date of check-in. However,
the cancellation deadline for Special Events is 21 days prior
to the check-in date. These Special Events include, but are
not limited to, the Keeneland Meets, the Rolex Three-Day
Events, and the Kentucky Derby. An events calendar can
be found at the Lexington Convention & Visitors Center.
If you miss these deadlines you will be charged a
Cancellation Penalty, which is one night's rent for a one night
stay, or 50% of the total cost of the reservation for a multiple
nights stay.
A cancellation made on the scheduled Date of Arrival or a
No Show (when a person does not check-in & has not
cancelled the reservation), the accountable party will be
charged for the entire reservation.
* Check-In time is 4 to 6 p.m.
* Check-Out time is 12 noon.
* Early Check-In: guests may check-in an hour early; however,
anything earlier will need prior arrangements and a fee of $50
will be charged.
* Early Check-Out: If a guest checks out before the scheduled
departure date, they are still responsible for the cost of the
entire reservation.
* Extra Person Fee: Each room is designed to
accommodate 2 persons comfortably. To include a third
guest in the
same room an Extra Person Fee of $75 a night
will be
charged; $125 during Special Events.
* Deposits: During Special Events and Extended
Stays (three or more nights), a 50% deposit
is required at the time of booking.
* Late Check-Out: A $50 fee will be charged for late
check-outs up to 2 p.m., and anything after 2 p.m. would
involve another nights rent. Another option would be
baggage storage (a $50 handling fee)-- leave your bags ready
to go in the room and the housekeeper will move them to the
office for storage until you return to collect them the same
day.
* Minimum Stay: During the Keeneland Meets and
Kentucky Derby, a 2-night minimum is required.
During the
Rolex Three-Day Events, a 3-night minimum is
required.
OTHER POLICIES
* Children: Children are welcome at the Lyndon House.
* Gift Certificates are available and can be purchased by
the night, by a package, or by a dollar amount.
* Parking: We have off-street parking in the rear of
the property along Von Alley.
* Pets: Pets are welcome at the Lyndon House; however,
prior arrangements with the Innkeeper are required.
A $85 pet fee will be charged per night.
* Property Damage: Charges for property damages will be
assessed on an individual basis.
* Smoking: The Lyndon House is a smoke-free
environment. A
$250 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in a guest
room.
* Sub-letting: A Guest shall not sub-let or grant any license to
use the Premises or any part thereof without the prior written
consent of the Innkeeper.
